Ivian Sarcos Attends Miss Ghana World Launching

The Miss World Organisation led by its chairwoman, Julia Morley, and current titleholder, Ivian Sarcos, attended the launching of Miss Ghana World held at the the Banquet Hall of the State House in the capital city of Accra last Tuesday, May 22. Along with the two were Miss World 2011 Second runner-up, Amanda Vilanova of Pureto Rico, and Miss World finalist, Alize Lily Mounter of England.

The event was also a fundraising ball organised by the Miss Ghana Organisation to support the nursery project of Stephanie Karikari, Miss Ghana 2010. Miss Karikari won the Beauty with a Purpose Award in London last year along with Astrid Ellena of Indonesia. Her project was a for the benefit of the less fortunate children of the slums of Sodom and Gomorrah in Ayalolo.

During their stay in Ghana, they visited important landmarks of the West African nation and, met with Ghana VP John Mahama and Central Regional Minister Ama Benyiwa Doe
