Miss World Makes Courtesy Call to Central Regional Minister in Ghana

Reigning Miss World, Ivian Sarcos, made a courtesy call to Central Regional Minister  Ama Benyiwa Doe yesterday, 20th of May. She was accompanied by Julia Morley, chairperson of Miss World organisation, Miss World 2011 second runner-up, Amanda Vilanova, Miss World England 2011, Alize Lily Mounter and Miss Ghana 2010, Stephanie Karikari. 

The whole entourage of Ivian Sarcos arrived in the West African country last Saturday, May 19. They are expected to attend the coronation night of the new Miss Ghana tomorrow, May 22. Other than this, they are also in the African nation to help raise funds for the nursery project of Stephanie Karikari, who won the Beauty with a Purpose Award together with Astrid Ellena of Indonesia last year.

Julia Morley, chairperson of Miss World organisation reiterated the importance of inner beauty when she quipped that ‘beauty is not just in the face but it is in the heart’. 

International delegates of Miss World have been involved in one way or another for the betterment of underprivileged communities through its theme, Beauty with a Purpose.
