Current titleholder, Leila Lopes, was blazing, hot and beautiful during the finale night of the Miss Universe Jamaica held on Saturday, 12th of May, at the National Indoor Sports Center in the capital city of Kingston. She was a special guest in the said national pageant which selects the island nation’s representative to the Miss Universe pageant.
The title of Miss Universe Jamaica was won by 24 year old, Chantal Zaky, besting fifteen other gorgeous ladies. Miss Zaky has now the chance to win the very first Miss Universe crown for Jamaica which was almost won by Yendi Phillipps in 2010 when she lost to the equally-beautiful Ximena Navarrete of Mexico.
Miss Lopes arrived in the Carribean country last Friday, May 11, and was warmly welcomed by the national franchise holder of Miss Universe, Dimitris Kosvogiannis.
During the event, the Angolan beauty queen mesmerize everyone by wearing a blazing-red, Grecian-inspired gown with an overly-up-do hair that resembles the look when she won the coveted title last year in Sao Paolo, Brazil. This is in contrast to the way she arrived in Kingston last Friday which was a look of simplicity and carefree.
Miss Lopes is extremely on the low-profile side if compared to other G4 pageant winners, which is working on her side as she contemplates to work more for the cause of the Miss Universe organisation.
