As the Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week starts tomorrow, April 30, in Circular Quay, Sydney, a well-known Aussie swimwear label in the world of pageantry, Kooey, is going to be one of the most-awaited collection in this upcoming fashion event. The collection will feature works of Nikki Silverstone, Kooey’s prime designer, as well as Miss Universe Australia 2011, Scherri-Lee Biggs. This will be Miss Biggs first-ever biggest designing project which she is collaborating with the swimwear brand.
Kooey has been a famous swimwear line that Western Australia is proud of. It has been a sponsor of Miss Universe Australia since 2009. Additionally, it is also making its way to the Miss USA 2012 and Miss Universe 2012 as the organisation’s swimwear sponsor.
Collection for the swimwear brand will be seen on the Sydney runway on Wednesday, May 2.
The Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week will run until May 4 and will feature other notable designers locally and internationally.
