In a video released by the charitable organisation, END7, Leila Lopes appeals for 50 cents donation for cause of the organisation.

END7 is a campaign program initiated by the Global Network for Neglected Tropical Diseases based in Washington, DC. The seven NTDs are elephantiasis, river blindness, snail fever, trachoma, hookworm, whipworm and roundworm. These diseases are highly preventable and treatable; however, due to issues like poverty and lack of education, the NTDs affect more than a billion of people mostly children across the world.

With the END7 program, the Global Network for Neglected Tropical Diseases, aims to eradicate the seven NTDs in amongst the poorest countries globally by 2020. The current Miss Universe, Leila Lopes, is working to help advocate for its cause.

The Miss Universe Organisation includes the Global Network for Neglected Tropical Diseases amongst the non-profit organisations that it works with.

To help in the cause of the END7 campaign, watch the video below and let us make the NTDs a thing of the past.
