The annual Mardi Gras Parade in Sydney, one of the biggest event for the LGBTQI community, started earlier. Although heavy downpour of rain across Sydney, thousands of revelers did not hinder them to attend this year’s colorful and inspiring event. This year’s festivities included Australia’s gay pride and icon, Kylie Minogue.

The 2012 Mardi Gras parade at Oxford and Flinders Streets, Taylor Square, Darlinghurst in Sydney will be streamed online tomorrow, March 4, at 7.30 pm (AEDT)  on http://www.mardigrastv.org.au. This is the first time that the parade will be watched online.

Further, the VIP Party held at the Sheraton On the Park last thursday, ARIA Hall of Famer, Kylie graced the event with a sultry red cocktail dress. In an interview when asked about what the gay and lesbian community mean to her she replied, “They have just been with me since the beginning; and even through harsh times. They pretty much adopted me…”.

  1. unless they do something bad to other ppl and harm other ppl that’s gonna be the time that they’re gonna rot in hell. They’re hvinag a good time here and i don’t see something wrong with gays and lesbians. And i’m one lucky straight female who have gay and lesbian friends to back me up when i’m down or when i’m okay. and i wont change them for anything. they’re precious! so to all haters, please, dont judge them right away.
