Venezuelan Girl Crowned 61st Miss World

Ivian Sarcos, Miss Venezuela, was crowned Miss World 2011 in London, England. She bested 113 delegates from all over the world to clinch Venezuela’s sixth title. Gwendoline Ruais from the Philippines and Amanda Vilanova from Puerto Rico were first and second runner-ups, respectively.

South Africa, Korea, England and Scotland complete the final seven.

Semi-finalists include: Indonesia, Italy, Sweden, Zimbabwe, Kazakhstan, Ukraine, US Virgin Islands, and Spain.

Quarter-finalists include: Australia, Botswana, Brazil, Canada, Chile, Guatemala, Hungary, India, Japan, New Zealand, Paraguay, Russia, Serbia, St. Barthelemy and Trinidad and Tobago.

Special Awards were the following:

Sports Champion – Dominican Republic

Top Model – Kazakhstan

Beach Beauty – England

Talent Winner – Chile

Beauty with a Purpose – Ghana and Indonesia
